  • Velvet Castle reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including stock errors or suspected fraud.

  • Prices and product descriptions are accurate to the best of our knowledge, but may change without notice.

We take great care in describing our vintage jewellery and gemstones. All items are listed as accurately as possible, but please note that vintage gemstones can sometimes be difficult to identify with complete certainty. Any genuine errors in identification are unintentional.

3. Payment

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order.

  • All payments are processed securely.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery is subject to the Shipping Policy on the Velvet Castle website.

  • Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only; Velvet Castle is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or other unforeseen events.

  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes.

5. Returns & Refunds

 

    • Returns and refunds are subject to the Returns & Refunds Policy on the Velvet Castle website.

    • Please read it carefully before placing your order.

    • If you wish to return an item, please contact us via email to request the secure returns address. We will provide all necessary details for returning your item safely.

    • Returns must be sent back in their original condition and packaging.

    • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any customs duties for international orders.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Velvet Castle website — including images, text, and branding — is owned by Velvet Castle or used with permission.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content without our express written permission.

7. Liability

  • Velvet Castle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our site or products.

  • Our liability for any product defect or misdescription is limited to the price paid for the item.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by English law.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Changes to Terms

  • Velvet Castle reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

    CONSULTING SERVICES — TERMS & CONDITIONS

     




    PRIVATE JEWELLERY CONSULTATION — BOOKING POLICY

    1. BOOKING & PAYMENT
    Full payment of £600 is required at the time of booking to secure your consultation. Upon purchase, you will receive a welcome email within 24 hours to schedule your session and discuss your vision.

    2. CANCELLATION POLICY
    We understand that plans change. The following applies:
    • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable but can be rescheduled.
    • Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable and the session will be forfeited.

    3. RESCHEDULING
    You may reschedule your session at no additional charge, subject to availability. We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice where possible. Requests to reschedule within 48 hours will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed.

    4. DELIVERABLES
    Following your 60-minute consultation, you will receive a personally curated list of jewellery recommendations within 48 hours. This is prepared exclusively for you and is for personal use only.

    5. DISCLAIMER
    This is an advisory service. Recommendations provided are based on your brief, taste and budget as discussed during the session. We are not responsible for any purchases made following the consultation, nor for the availability or pricing of any pieces recommended.

    6. CONFIDENTIALITY
    All information shared during your consultation is treated with complete discretion and will never be shared with third parties.

    7. OUR CANCELLATION
    In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your session, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date — whichever you prefer.
